Brahma Kumaris Gwalior

The face of a yogi is one that constantly sparkles in happiness, the soul remains in the awareness of its own peace; in the remembrance of the Supreme it receives power and drama teaches such a soul to smile.  Each scene in the drama is unique and can’t be the same. So what is yoga?

It means to remain free.  Where are we now? It means to have the awareness that we are going home and so I have raised my anchor from here. We are making preparations to go home. God's home is my home and we are ready to go home.  We have to go home and so we have to finish everything and remain carefree.

Yoga means not to stop anywhere.  If any thought stops you then sadness comes. No matter what happens, keep the awareness that I, the soul, am imperishable in the face of everything perishable, the world and relationships.
The quality of the journey of life reflects our yoga.

Yoga is knowing, ‘Whose child am I?’ To have the awareness from childhood that ‘I belong to the Supreme and he belongs to me’.

Spirituality means that I should be connected with the Source. For that I need to have the recognition of that Source. Who is He? Where does He reside?  In fact God is One. He cannot be different for different religions. He is One for all. If I say that Christ belongs to the Christian religion and someone else to another religion, then I create conflict.  Instead of more spiritual power there will be even more wars and even less love between one another.

Spirituality means to have eternal spiritual love for each other whilst maintaining that incognito, internal connection with God. This is only possible when I become introverted, and when I am able to keep my mind under control through the power of concentration. Today, human beings’ minds and sense organs are not under their control. The sense organs cause us to perform very bad actions by coming under the influence of lust, greed and anger. Spirituality means to make my mind free from all these things—to let these desires finish. The consciousness, “I want this, I want that etc,” is also extrovert. The more I want the less satisfaction I will receive from that. In fact I will become even more of a beggar. To be spiritual means to be royal, not to have any desires. A jeweler who does business with jewels will not waste his time in trifling matters. So, I have to go deep into myself and search for the treasures that I have within myself. In order to see God, I need to have a divine intellect and divine sight. I cannot see God through these ordinary eyes. I can see this world through these eyes, but I cannot see myself. Whether my eyes are open or not, I should be able to see myself. Otherwise, if I am extroverted, whatever I see externally comes into my mind. Even things I have seen years ago come into my mind.

Spirituality means to open the eye of the mind and, on the basis of that, to realize who I am. When anyone comes here we always teach them three main lessons: “Who am I?” “Who is God?” and “What is the philosophy of karma?” I should understand the philosophy of karma to such an extent that every action I perform is accurate and filled with spirituality. Even if the actions are mundane, they should reveal spirituality. Even the quality of my thinking must be filled with spirituality because the foundation of human life is the quality of our thoughts. If I have the feeling of positivity and of bringing benefit to others, then automatically my thoughts will be filled with those qualities. And if my thoughts are of quality, then my interactions with others will also be of quality. I am a soul; I am connected with the Supreme Soul; He is teaching me, and whatever He is teaching me I am able to share with others.

Know GOD, Brahma Kumaris Gwalior

“Change is not always a good thing. What I need is not change from one thing to another but transformation from who I am into who I was meant to become. Only when God's transforming power touches me can I begin to live the simpler, freer, fresher, more creative, more patient, more passionate, more sacrificial, riskier, rawer, more real, more love-driven life God intended for me all along. That transformation is what awaits all who dare to enter the story of God.
“You can't just know about God.
You have to KNOW God!”  www.brahmakumaris.com

However marvelous a machine the body may be, it is the presence of non-physical conscious energy, the soul, which makes it function. We are not some flesh of 5 elements but in reality we are a living, spiritual energy point known as SOUL or ATMA, which is so small that it is not visible to the naked eye, but only the 3rd eye of divine wisdom can see the soul, our real self. A soul has three faculties - mind, intellect and Resolves. Mind is the thinking faculty of the soul. Intellect is used to assess thoughts. Predispositions (Sanskaras) are the "impressions" or "subconsciousness" which is the record of all the souls past experiences and actions. A soul is a tiny, metaphysical, conscient point of spiritual light which is eternal. There are a finite number of souls. They were never created, and will never be destroyed. Each soul is unique. Just as the driver drives the car but the driver is not the car, similarly SOUL drives the body. The SOUL is seated between the eyebrows.

It’s important for us to know where the souls came from. At the bottom of this picture lies the human world in form of an inverted tree; also called Gross World, Corporeal World or Karma Kshetra. When soul enters this world, it wears a terrestrial body of flesh and bones. Birth-Death, pleasure-pain, good-bad actions, thoughts, words & sound all these are found here. Beyond the Sun and stars of this human world lies the world of Deities or Subtle world No birth, death, pain, speech, sound but only motion. Beyond this lies another world, Paramdham\ Brahmaloka\ Muktidham\ Shantidham\ Nirvandham. Here the Supreme Soul abides. After completion of 5000 years all souls from human world come here to rest until their part comes to act on the stage. There’s complete peace without movement
God is a subtle, infinitesimal point of Light and not visible to the naked eye but it is very much possible to experience His presence and proximity in meditation. He’s incorporeal in the sense that he does not have a body of his own. He’s neither a human being nor does He has a human form. He’s immune to pleasure and pain unlike human beings. He’s the Supreme Father of all and called the creator, oceanic in his virtues- the ocean of peace, love, bliss, knowledge, happiness, mercy, etc. He’s the truth, Almighty & Authority. He’s reputed to be the preserver or sustainer of virtues & the destroyer of all evils. He is also the liberator, the guide, and the bestower of salvation, therefore the sadguru. He dispels sorrow, bestows joy. His self-revealed name is 'Shiva'. 'Shiva' means doer of good or benefactor. He is perfect in all ways and absolutely detached and loving. He is very benevolent
God is the father of all souls in this world. It is observed that all religions have images, idols or memorials bearing one name or another to represent the form of Light that God is. All over India, the images of the form that Shiva has is found installed; these images are without any human form, in the form of linga, which is the symbol of an incorporeal Being.

It seems therefore that human beings, without realizing, have all been worshipping and trying to discover the same God. There is only one God and His form is a point of light. He is called by different names in different religions.

Does a father pervade his children? No, Likewise, God- the father of all souls is not omnipresent. If He is omnipresent, His qualities should be found everywhere. We cannot think of a contingency in which sugar is present everywhere in milk but the sweetness is not. Today in all people, vices, pain & evil are present. If God is omnipresent, purity, peace and happiness ought to be found everywhere but it is not the case. God is Knowledgeful not because of his omnipresence but because of his prescience of the events of world-history which are predetermined. To God, the future and past also are as clear as present as He has extra-ordinary Vision and is above birth, death & forgetfulness. He is the highest of all the souls in the 3 worlds, who grants salvation & purifies sinners and removes all our sorrow and gives us happiness and is our Supreme father- to regard him as pervading the tortoise, alligator, ass, dog, dust etc is to insult Him and earn nothing

At the Iron age, all the religions reach their lowest level, and all people, men and women become cruel, there is misery and uproar. The world will not go on like this forever. Somebody has to put an end to all these evils. This task is beyond the reach of any human being and only one Almighty God can establish lasting peace on earth. At present, we are in the Confluence Age – the confluence of the fag end of the Kaliyuga and the dawn of Satyuga or the Golden Age/Garden of Eden/Heaven known by different names in different religions
First of all is shown the Golden Age/Garden of Eden/Heaven/ Satyuga, which is completely righteous.During this period of 1250 years, the average age was 150 years. Next comes Silver Age. In this epoch of 1250 years, average age of a person varies from 100 to 125 years. All are happy in this period as well. Then in the Copper Age, they become body-conscious and are led to vices. So they have a fall, from a deity’s position which is worship-worthy elevated position to be just praying men or poor worshippers. After this comes the Iron Age (Kaliyuga). The picture represents how in this epoch, the vices, has grown in power over the world. In this epoch of 1250 years, there are 42 births. At present, we are in the Confluence Age – the confluence of the fag end of the Kaliyuga and the dawn of Satyuga or the Golden Age.
The world has been in existence since eternity and it will continue to be eternal as matter can neither be created nor destroyed, it only undergoes transformation from one form to another. The cycle of time explained by illustrating the "flow" of time. In the middle of it is the Fylfot (Swastika) dividing the Time into 4 equal parts. The Swastika is considered to be very auspicious. The cycle of 5 epochs, comprising Golden-Age, Silver Age, Copper-Age and Iron Age & Confluence Age repeats exactly every time after it has turned full wheel. During every cycle, the souls who are actors on this world-drama stage will be the same. Just as in a tape record or a gramophone record, a whole song or drama is recorded and it repeats every time record is played, even so, a soul’s role in this world drama is recorded in the soul itself which is only self-luminous, conscient point. The soul replays the part once every 5000 years, as each one of the 4 eras of world-drama=1250years, duration of 1 World Cycle is 5000 years
Yoga means 'connection'. The mental connection between the soul and Supreme Soul or the remembrance of the Supreme Soul by the soul is called meditation or RajYoga. Stability in the Soul-consciousness and God-consciousness will bring peace and bliss to the soul. Thus, all the latencies of the vicious actions of the past lives will be destroyed because intellectual communion with God acts like fire. It burns the sins of the past. Yoga washes off all dirt from the soul; bathing in a river may clean the body but a soul is cleansed only in the remembrance of Supreme Soul. Yoga is the only means through which soul gets link or association with God, who is the truth. By Yoga, man controls his otherwise non-constant sense organs and overcomes diverse vile thoughts. Yoga has such great force that, under its influence, even the elements of nature are brought to elevated state and the right path & peace is established in world.

Finally Found him.."The Incorporeal God" He is my father and I do not need some super-natural power to communicate with him and yes it is not even "schizophrenia" no voodooism no superstition. A lot and lot of detrimental things were and are still said about Brahma Kumaris. But I would still request people who may be reading this to at least go and experience it first and conclude. You don’t have to trust me to have trust. You don’t have to trust me or what I say. You trust in something after making yourself understand. If your intellect agrees with it, then you trust. Brahma Kumaris don’t use the method used by gurus and others that you have to follow what we say. God has given us the understanding and we use it after experiencing it.
